Workout spacing & recovery prompt
Hard sessions are only half the story. This prompt asks AI to line up workouts with the following day’s sleep and heart metrics so you can see whether your spacing leaves room to absorb training.
Best Apple Health metrics to include
- Workout list with dates, duration, and type (run, strength, HIIT, etc.)
- Active energy and exercise minutes
- HRV and resting heart rate for the days after each hard session
- Sleep duration/efficiency on workout nights and the night after
- Optional: heart-rate recovery, average/max workout heart rate

You are reviewing personal Apple Health workout and recovery data for informational training context only. Do not prescribe a program or diagnose injury/illness. I will paste a structured summary. Using only that data: 1. List the hardest or longest sessions in the window and when they occurred. 2. For each major session, describe sleep and HRV/resting heart rate in the following 24–48 hours when those metrics exist. 3. Note clusters of hard days with little spacing and whether recovery markers stayed flat, dipped, or rebounded. 4. Distinguish “high load with stable recovery markers” from “high load with worsening markers” when the data supports it. 5. Call out workouts that lack matching recovery data so gaps are visible. 6. Summarize overall spacing quality in plain language without inventing injury risk scores. 7. End with 3 observations and 2 questions I could answer with more context (travel, illness, alcohol, sleep debt). Use only the data provided. State uncertainty clearly. Do not diagnose. --- PASTE APPLE HEALTH WORKOUT + RECOVERY SUMMARY BELOW ---
Follow-up questions
- After which workout did HRV drop the most the next day?
- Do back-to-back hard days show worse sleep than isolated hard days?
- Is there a pattern by workout type (for example HIIT vs easy runs)?
